PT- Ticket Taker at Albuquerque Convention Center
About The Position
Legends Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has immediate openings for Ticket Takers at the Albuquerque Convention Center. This role involves collecting tickets, greeting and assisting guests at events, and answering their questions. The Ticket Taker is a key representative of the facility, providing outstanding and friendly customer service. Responsibilities include reporting problems or concerns to the appropriate department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
Requirements
- Greet guests in a friendly manner and be professional at all times.
- Stay calm under pressure.
- Use radio devices.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced diverse environment.
- Convey strong verbal & interpersonal skills.
- Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
- Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for hours at a time.
- Must be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekend and/or holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Receive all guests with outstanding friendly customer service.
- Answer general questions about the arena and provide assistance when needed.
- Assist Event Manager when needed.
- Verifies date of tickets and authenticity of passes.
- Takes and tears tickets.
- Separates tickets according to types.
- Informs guests of rules and regulations regarding items prohibited in the Convention Center.
- Refuses admittance to guests without a ticket.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
