About The Position

Support the Ticket Office Manager and department to maintain sales, customer satisfaction, productivity, and sell tickets, passes, and other Resort products. This role involves direct interaction with guests and employees, accurate transaction handling, and maintaining a positive work environment. The position requires physical presence at the resort throughout the Winter Season, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in person.
  • Knowledge of POS system.
  • Knowledge of Resort products.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Must have a passion for guest service and working with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to relate in a positive manner to guests and co-workers.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve, and multitask.
  • Ability and commitment to on-site four/five days a week throughout the Winter Season, with a schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays; exceptions such as a four-day split schedule with a designated Department Lead require Management approval.
  • Ability to attend offsite events for Department.
  • Thorough understanding of company policies and practices.
  • Organized and attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Minimum one year computer, cash handling, internet, phone, and customer service skills.
  • Background check.

Nice To Haves

  • One year experience supervising, managing, or leading a Resort ticket office and staff or industry equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with POS and / or a HRM software desired but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist guests and employees with sales and processing of Resort products, including but not limited to tickets, passes, parking, FAST registration, and locker rentals.
  • Accurately account for and reconcile daily transactions of cash / credit card sales, gift cards, ticket counts, vouchers, reimbursements, etc.
  • Answer multi-line phone and provide accurate information re: Resort offerings.
  • Perform the duties of the Ticket Office Supervisor in their absence.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform the job and get along with others to build a positive working environment.
  • Show up to work on time with consistent attendance.
  • Physically perform the essential job functions of this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.
