About The Position

Receive, pH adjust and heat inactivate threonine broth. Evaporate inactivated broth in preparation for granulation and drying. This position works 12-hour rotating shifts (36 / 48 hours per week alternating, rotating nights & days every 4 weeks), which includes days, nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Measure and document broth transfers.
• Monitor and control broth pH, TS%, PCV%, density and temperature.
• Identify process malfunctions / deviations and communicate issues to management immediately
• Monitor and control assigned process equipment using HMI control software
• Collect samples and test pH, Total solids%, PCV%, concentration and density
• Accurately and legibly record samples and process data.
• Monitor assigned equipment and production areas to ensure cleanliness and normal operating conditions
• Perform equipment / tank cleaning (CIPs) as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
