About The Position

The Threat Surveillance Countermeasures Specialist is responsible for protecting sensitive information by detecting and neutralizing technical surveillance threats. This role involves conducting thorough inspections, utilizing specialized equipment, and implementing countermeasures to safeguard against eavesdropping and electronic surveillance to protect the equities of the company.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in TSCM, electronic security, or a related field.
  • Certification in TSCM or related fields is required
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance technologies and countermeasure techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret technical data and present findings in clear, actionable reports.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Security clearance may be required depending on the nature of the work.
  • Global travel required based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Electronics, Information Security, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Certification in first aid and self-defense techniques is desirable.
  • Law Enforcement Officer's Safety Act (LEOSA) Concealed Carry License /Legal authorization to carry a firearm preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive technical surveillance countermeasure inspections in various environments to detect and mitigate surveillance threats.
  • Use specialized equipment to identify unauthorized electronic devices, radio frequency emissions, and other potential espionage tools.
  • Analyze technical data and findings to provide detailed reports and recommendations for enhancing security protocols.
  • Collaborate with security teams to develop and implement effective counter-surveillance strategies and policies.
  • Stay informed about the latest surveillance technologies and methods, adapting countermeasures to address evolving threats.
  • Perform risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security weaknesses.
  • Advise management and executive teams on the implementation of security enhancements and practices.
  • Provide training and education to staff on security policies, threat awareness, and protective measures.
  • Maintain and calibrate TSCM equipment to ensure operational readiness and accuracy.
