Threat Intelligence Systems Engineer

Command Post Technologies, Inc.Huntsville, AL
Onsite

About The Position

Command Post Technologies (CPT) is seeking an experienced Threat Intelligence Systems Engineer to support continuous cyber and electronic warfare threat operations across a distributed Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) environment. This role provides sustained threat intelligence monitoring, analysis, and translation of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) into actionable threat emulation requirements that directly support operational execution, systems engineering, and threat environment development. This position is primarily aligned to operational support, with additional responsibilities in systems engineering, technical analysis, and collaboration across engineering, cyber, and intelligence teams. The role requires on-site support within classified environments and coordination across geographically distributed operations. Occasional travel may be required based on mission requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Intelligence Studies, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience supporting threat intelligence, cyber operations, electronic warfare, systems engineering, or closely related DoW mission environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in adversary cyber and EW tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), threat actor behavior, and operational employment.
  • Experience translating intelligence reporting into operational or technical requirements, including threat replication, threat emulation, red teaming, or operational planning.
  • Experience supporting classified programs involving cyber ranges, threat environments, test and evaluation, or multi-domain operations.
  • Ability to operate effectively in sustained, high-tempo operational environments with geographically distributed teams.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting threat emulation platforms, cyber ranges, or live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) environments.
  • Familiarity with modular or behavior-driven threat modeling approaches.
  • Experience supporting Army, joint, or other DoW multi-domain operations involving cyber and EW integration.
  • Experience working across multiple classification levels and continuously operating mission environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct continuous monitoring and analysis of near-peer adversaries and relevant threat actors across cyber and electromagnetic domains.
  • Evaluate adversary TTPs, system capabilities, intelligence reporting, and operational patterns to ensure threat environments remain aligned with current real-world intelligence.
  • Maintain continuous threat awareness across distributed operations and provide analytical redundancy to support uninterrupted mission execution.
  • Support recurring reporting, operational updates, and technical recommendations related to threat posture and evolving adversary behaviors.
  • Translate raw intelligence reporting into actionable threat emulation requirements that support realistic cyber and EW threat replication.
  • Define threat behaviors, sequencing, timing, and interaction rules that drive cyber effects and EW manifestations across training, test, and operational environments.
  • Support development and refinement of threat profiles used across live, virtual, and constructive environments to ensure technical realism and operational relevance.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders and internal technical teams to ensure threat representations remain current and mission aligned.
  • Support systems engineering activities by validating that threat representations are technically accurate, scalable, and aligned with the broader Silent Tsunami architecture.
  • Assist in evaluating hardware, software, and system configurations used to replicate adversary capabilities across cyber and EW domains.
  • Contribute to requirements development, technical documentation, engineering analysis, and operational reporting.
  • Support configuration management, system validation, and lifecycle sustainment activities related to threat systems and supporting platforms.
