About The Position

Allfast Fastening Systems LLC is seeking a Threadroll Operator Trainee for the 2nd shift at their facility in the City of Industry, CA. This is a full-time, hourly position in Manufacturing Production / Distribution. The role involves setting up and operating various threadroll machines to manufacture precision aircraft quality fasteners.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Learn to read and understand blueprints.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
0-6 months experience in threadrolling aircraft quality fasteners on various types of threadroll machines; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good communication skill and know basic shop math.
Pass production stamp test.
Understands QMS.

Nice To Haves

Ability to use and set all gages, micrometers, calipers, plug and ring gages, comparator and microscope.
Understands threadroll part feature terminology.
Read and interpret part drawings, work instructions, process control procedures, policies and procedures.
Be able to use the necessary measuring tools.
Recognizes improper machine functioning and takes action to report any safety concerns.
Perform first piece verification process per part print and do loaf pan inspections.
Perform daily 5S on work area and equipment and understands lean principles.
Perform preventative maintenance daily at shift start.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Good communication skill and know basic shop math.
