Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, Trade School, On-The-Job Training or University Diploma
  • 5+ years of third-party vendor inspection, expediting or auditing experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Welding/Brazing/Soldering standards with an ability to visually identify defects
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, P&IDs, specifications and design drawings
  • 5+ Experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial or comparable industries
  • Understanding of AWS standards; ISO 9001 Standards; or ISO 9001 Certification
  • Understanding of Quality Systems and methodologies for continuous improvement
  • HVAC experience
  • Comfortable using mobile device (tablet or laptop) to complete checklists

Responsibilities

  • Acts as our on-site representative and quality support within the main supplier’s facility and the DCQ Team.
  • Responsible for executing the comprehensive inspection criteria outlined in the ACC Checklists.
  • Guarantees that all chillers meet structural, mechanical and electrical requirements before shipping.
  • Document compliance to in-process and final inspection checks in accordance with checklist in ACC software.
  • Document any non-conformances in ACC with photos to drive accountability with suppliers to address them timely.
  • Partner with supplier to ensure the equipment is manufactured in compliance with specifications.
