About The Position

The Third-Party Information Analyst is responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to the onboarding, periodic review, and offboarding of third- and fourth-party relationships in accordance with bank policy and with the aid of the third-party vendor management software. The Third-Party Analyst works with Business Owners within the bank, as well as Subject Matter Experts, to receive documentation required for approvals. This may include but is not limited to information security reviews, reputation reviews, information technology approvals, financial reviews, OFAC reviews, and approvals from legal counsel regarding any contracts or Terms of Service. Documentation is stored and accessible in the vendor management software in accordance with the Bank’s policy. The qualified candidate will be remarkably detail-oriented, exhibit clear and professional communication with stakeholders at all levels, function easily in multiple digital environments, and be proficient at maintaining a revolving calendar with multiple data points. The Third-Party Analyst will answer questions and troubleshoot when needed, provide process assistance, be available and responsive, and provide ongoing assistance to ensure our third party vendor relationship list and central files are up to date in our vendor management software system.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical acumen with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), Project Management Tools, Venminder, and SharePoint.
  • Professional communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to track data in multiple locations, ensuring it is entered in the central depository.
  • Skilled in relationship building.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while typing, speaking on the phone or video conference, and processing paperwork.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Background checks are required on all bank employees due to the accessibility of Personally Identifiable Private Information.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors in business management, project management or a related field.
  • One or more years of paid professional experience in third-party management, project management, risk/compliance management or related field can be substituted on a year for year basis to higher education.

Responsibilities

  • Performs job duties in compliance with all bank policies and procedures related to Third-Party Oversight.
  • Performs day-to-day activities related to third-party oversight (onboarding new relationships, ongoing oversight and regular reviews, offboarding terminated relationships, etc.)
  • Ensures required reviews with internal subject matter experts to ensure all required approvals are obtained before engaging with third- and fourth parties is authorized.
  • Performs risk assessments related to the third-party vendor relationship.
  • Assist in the identification of potential issues, gaps and potential process efficiencies.
  • Assist Business Owners in onboarding new third parties and ensure they understand the organization's requirements and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third party vendors and business owners to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively with third party vendors, and business owners, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Perform annual reviews, ensuring third party vendors continue to meet established standards and expectations.
  • Identify and assess potential reputational risks associated with third parties.
  • Maintain accurate records of third-party information and contracts.
  • Subject matter experts in the bank’s third-party oversight process.
  • Assist with the development of training, making necessary updates as needed.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Business Owners during the onboarding and annual reviews of third parties assigned by the Third-Party Oversight Manager.
  • Communicate with internal bank employees and external relationships to gather information and documentation necessary to onboard, periodically review, and offboard third- and fourth-party relationships.
  • Other related duties assigned and needed.
