We are looking for a Third-Party Logistics & Project Logistics Planner to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply management, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position
  • Experience using an electronic inventory management system, Oracle strongly preferred.
  • Experience shipping a technically complex product to customers both Domestic (required) and International (required).
  • Ability to interact with managers, customers and vendors at all levels respectfully and effectively.
  • Experience creating compliant logistics documents, such as bills of lading.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and shipping documentation requirements.
  • Experience working with transportation carriers/dispatchers.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong self-starter and team player.
  • Strong drive for results and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Preferred experience in freight forwarding.
  • Experience working within a Foreign Trade Zone preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages Logistics & Materials Project Coordination with Suppliers.
  • Tracks Receipts & Coordination of movements and storage for Electrical Gear.
  • Administrator of third-party logistics (3PL) Cycle counts.
  • Conducts on site audits of 3PLs ( i.e. inventory accuracy, organization, labelling and space management).
  • Manage damage claims.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy across 3PL locations.
  • Improve coordination of project shipments to customer sites.
  • Maintain on-time delivery performance and execution efficiency.
  • Provide the operational support needed as project volumes continue to scale.
