Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our IS Compliance and Security team in the role of Third-Party Business Analyst (Contingent Worker – IS Contract EE). Job Description The Third-Party Business Analyst (Intermediate) supports the organization’s third-party risk management and vendor oversight programs. This role involves analyzing vendor data, assessing third-party risks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to evaluate vendor performance, support onboarding processes, and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Compliance, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, compliance, or business analysis.
  • Understanding of third-party risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and vendor management tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, healthcare).
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance standards.
  • Project management or process improvement experience (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

  • Audit Contingent and Non-Worker EMR Access
  • Conduct Reconciliation efforts for Contingent and Non-Worker ERP Onboarding and Yearly Access Renewals
  • Assist in the onboarding, due diligence, and risk assessment of third-party vendors.
  • Analyze vendor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update third-party risk management systems and documentation.
  • Collaborate with procurement, legal, IT, and compliance teams to manage vendor relationships.
  • Support audits and regulatory reviews related to third-party risk.
  • Track and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and vendor performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Help develop and improve third-party risk management policies and procedures.
