DMOS5 Thinfilm Process Technician - Night Shift (D Shift)

About The Position
Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Thinfilm Process Technician to support a clean room. The technician works with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to resolve issues efficiently, provide process and product support, address production concerns, and disposition production material. The role is based in wafer fabrication and includes technical testing, support for products on the production line, and assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have either 4 years of semiconductor experience as a Process Technician or 8 years of non-semiconductor or military technician experience.
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule.
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including one weekend shift and holidays.

- Experience as a Process Technician in Thinfilm.
- Ability to identify, multitask, and quickly and efficiently resolve multiple priority issues to improve overall fab performance.
- Ability to learn and understand process flow quickly and support the engineering organization as needed.
- Strong organizational, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly ramp up on new tools and processes.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
- Ability to take initiative and drive for results.
- Strong time-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturing.
- Monitor and audit line operators and provide guidance once products are on the line.
- Test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
- Provide process and product support, address production concerns, and disposition production material.
