The Non-Destructive Evaluation and Damage Tolerance Group serving the Non-Destructive Evaluation and Damage Tolerance Branch (EM21) at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, AL has an opening for an Engineer in Thermography inspection and testing on the Non-destructive Evaluation (NDE) team. This NDE professional will serve as an engineer on a strong and high performing team of approximately 25 team members, including: engineers, technicians, interns and subcontractor personnel. As an Engineer on this team the selected individual will provide support for research, testing and evaluation of parts for various space, flight, and non-flight applications, serving as an independent thermography inspector, conducting testing and providing reports. As a contributor on this team, the selected individual will provide support for NDE projects; a NAS-410 or ASNT level II, or level III, certification in thermography would be preferred. The selected individual will provide support for NDE projects and be able to interface with Project Management, Chief Engineers and Fracture Control Boards on projects including HLS, SLS, ISS and CCP for NDE related engineering matters.
