About The Position

Pactiv Evergreen Inc. is seeking a Thermoforming Operator for their Franklin Park, IL location. This is a night shift position with a pay rate of $20-26/hr depending on experience. The shift hours are 7 PM to 7 AM. The role involves operating thermoforming machines, performing basic maintenance and cleaning, conducting visual inspections of products, and making basic adjustments to machinery. The operator will also be responsible for feeding material, unjamming equipment, and assisting other operators with breaks.

Requirements

Must be able to complete all training required (procedures, equipment, safety).
Must be able to lift and install roll shaft into roll.
Must be able to feed material through thermoformed and trim press.
Must be able to unjam a grinder and put line back into production.
Proficient in Machine Setups for Production Runs.

Nice To Haves

Experience in thermoforming operations.

Responsibilities

Give breaks to other Operators.
Make labels.
Wrap palletized load.
Give breaks.
Complete all training required (procedures, equipment, safety).
Perform basic operator PM or equipment cleaning, such as degreasing the machine, cleaning inside the T/P, cleaning silicone tray, and filling T/P lube.
Perform visual inspection of products; identify attributes to quality in thermoform product.
Perform basic adjustments on machinery.
Operate multi full equipment as needed.
Lift and install roll shaft into roll.
Feed material through thermoformed and trim press.
Unjam a grinder and put line back into production.
