About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Thermal Spray Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This position is responsible for applying thermal spray coatings to aircraft and aerospace components while ensuring all work meets customer specifications, quality standards, and industry requirements. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, quality-driven, and experienced in a precision manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous thermal spray experience in an aerospace or precision manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with HVOF, plasma spray, flame spray, or similar coating processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate thermal spray equipment to apply protective coatings to aerospace components.
• Prepare parts for coating by cleaning, masking, and inspecting surfaces.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Monitor coating thickness, adhesion, and finish to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform visual inspections and document completed work according to company procedures.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of thermal spray equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company, customer, and aerospace quality and safety requirements.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.
