About The Position

Kysor Warren – Epta is seeking a Thermal Engineer to lead product development and thermal design activities relevant to the design of commercial refrigerators. This role involves collaborating with vendors and suppliers, optimizing designs using DFM/DFA principles, and performing engineering design using hand calculations and 1D/2D thermal modeling. The engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting using DFMEA and root cause analysis, designing heat exchangers and refrigerant piping, optimizing airflow and fan selection, generating reports for design approval, and drafting internal engineering standards.

Requirements

Thermal / Mechanical Engineering degree (bachelor’s with 7+ years of experience or master’s with 5+ years of experience)
Competency with thermal/fluid flow design and analysis
Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Hands-on engineering and thermal testing in conjunction with test engineers in lab
MS office
CAD
Proficient in English

Spanish is a plus
