In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Drive informed, high‑quality project decisions by negotiating with cross‑functional stakeholders and translating complex technical data into actionable guidance. Own and execute higher‑impact project decisions through hands‑on analysis, testing, and stakeholder communication that accelerate project progression. Apply and continuously improve core engineering and product development processes (PPP, PPT, VPI/VPC, ESW, FEP) to strengthen quality and execution rigor. Leverage advanced thermal, fluid, and data analysis tools to support feasibility studies, design optimization, and architecture definition. Lead smaller business‑impact projects or take full ownership of complex systems or components, navigating ambiguity with accountability and confidence. Independently execute established and emerging work processes while expanding technical depth and product knowledge in evolving technologies. Coordinate and direct work across technicians, co‑ops, and early‑career engineers, accelerating capability through knowledge transfer and coaching. Serve as a recognized technical specialist within the team, influencing technical direction and contributing to continuous functional excellence. Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
