Stellantis is currently seeking a Thermal and Engine Performance Simulation Engineer who will work closely with engine design release and development groups, suppliers and other functional groups, using CAE analyses in the areas listed below to proactively guide the designs to meet engine design targets and timing, build mathematical models to best simulate the engine combustion, thermal, lubrication and performance to guide engine systems designs, use simulations to improve engine thermal efficiency and reduce lubrication system friction losses, perform several what-if analysis to understand the physics of various Vehicle-Powertrain sub-system interactions during transient operating conditions to improve extreme ambient fuel economy, and use 1D CFD codes to perform analyses.
