About The Position

Texas Health Southlake is seeking a PRN Therapy Technician to join their Physical Therapy team. This role involves preparing patients for treatment, assisting with various therapeutic modalities, and maintaining equipment. Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required
• Ability to communicate and respond verbally and in writing to or for patients, family members and staff members

Nice To Haves

• 1 Year Rehab tech is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for treatment using appropriate draping and positioning
• Assist with use of modalities including ultrasound, e-stim, paraffin, fluidotherapy, heat and cold.
• Assists with the entry of patient charges
• Reviews patient data and charts as requested
• Cleans and maintains equipment
• Documents the cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Maintains, documents and communicates current CPR and education requirements and obtains all training and education required by the system, hospital and department
