About The Position

The Therapy Tech performs patient care tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist. This role involves assisting therapists with patient mobility activities such as gait training, transfers, ADLs, and exercises. Additionally, the Therapy Tech handles departmental support tasks including patient transport, equipment management (pick-up, delivery, set-up, take-down, maintenance), infection control, compliance log maintenance, equipment organization, and routine cleaning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills to support MRC's programs and services effectively.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• One year experience as a Therapy Technician in a related health care environment
• Experience as a nursing aid or tech

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist
