About The Position

Synchrony Rehab is seeking a Therapy Program Director to join their team at Ahoskie House, a dynamic and innovative Senior Living Community located in Ahoskie, NC. This role is open to candidates with PT, PTA, OT, and COTA qualifications. Requirements

  • Must have and maintain a current, valid state licensure in respective discipline
  • Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Minimum 1 year experience in delivering skilled rehab services
  • Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.

Responsibilities

  • Direct clinical assessments, program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment in campus location/s, home health, and/or outpatient care.
  • Adhere to compliance with state licensure requirements and the company’s policies and procedures, professional practices and ethical standards.
  • Demonstrate accountability for and contribute to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment.
  • Design and implement therapy programs and protocols that align with the facility’s mission, goals, and standards of care.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of therapists, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
  • Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including staffing, equipment, and budget, to support the successful delivery of therapy services.
  • Organize and facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for therapy staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Analyze program data and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance program effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
  • Meet the requirements of specific therapy discipline to deliver skilled rehab services within scope of credentials and/or license.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Other duties as assigned.
