About The Position

One Physics is seeking a highly skilled, compassionate Therapy Medical Physicist to join its team. The role is based in Pennsylvania and requires strong Radiation Oncology training and the ability to work collaboratively. The position supports radiation oncology services through treatment-unit measurements and calibration, equipment safety monitoring, regulatory documentation, and treatment-plan analysis and oversight of dosimetry functions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and/or PhD in Medical Physics.
• Board certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics, or board eligibility demonstrated by graduation from a CAMPEP-accredited residency in therapy physics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret regulations.
• Willingness to go above and beyond for clients and fellow colleagues.
• Demonstrated initiative, organization, and ownership of daily tasks and projects.
• Ability to problem solve by seeking, developing, and implementing viable solutions.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of clinical Therapy Medical Physics experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly and monthly radiation measurements and yearly calibration on all treatment units.
• Monitor Radiation Oncology Department equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and safely.
• Maintain regulatory agency records and reports.
• Analyze alternative treatment plans and supervise dosimetry treatment planning functions.
• Implement assessment, treatment, and care based on the developmental stages of the patient.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
