About The Position

Ballard Rehab Hospital, located in San Bernardino, CA is a 60 bed rehab facility providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Requirements

Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist in the state of employment required.
Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

Master’s and/or Doctorate Degree preferred.
Three (3) years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to project a professional image.

Responsibilities

Accountable for planning, management, and coordination of inpatient and outpatient therapy program development, therapy care delivery, and staff developmental activities in accordance with company philosophy and departmental goals.
Address the accountability for delivery of patient care in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.
Maintenance of Therapy integrity.
Effective interdisciplinary collaboration for clinical program planning, implementation and evaluation.
Facilitating development and professional growth.
Demonstration of a competent model of continuous quality improvement.
Fulfilling responsibility for departmental planning and accomplishment of goals and objectives.
