About The Position

Pediatrics Plus is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Therapy Clinical Line Lead to join their team. This role is crucial for positively impacting the lives of children diagnosed with special needs. Pediatrics Plus is a collaborative pediatric healthcare provider focused on empowering children through evidence-based therapy (Applied Behavior Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy) and developmental preschool services. Requirements

  • Active licensure in good standing in relevant therapy discipline(s).
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in pediatric therapy services.
  • Proven ability to lead clinical quality assurance, compliance, and accreditation efforts at an organizational level.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring fieldwork students.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate strategically and persuasively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and systems-thinking skills with the ability to manage complexity across multiple sites, states, and teams simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency with clinical and operational software including databases, EMR/EHR systems, LMS platforms, and productivity tools (including deTASO).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret clinical, financial, and operational data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and develop policies, clinical documentation, regulatory guidance, and organizational standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and present effectively before organizational leadership, clinical teams, families, and external audiences.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple high-stakes initiatives in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Maintains dependable transportation and willingness to travel regularly across sites; overnight travel required.
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and complete responsibilities in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience managing Director-level staff and developing clinical leadership teams across multiple therapy disciplines.
  • 10+ years of pediatric therapy clinical and leadership experience.
  • Experience leading programming across multiple therapy disciplines (OT, PT, and/or SLP) simultaneously.
  • Experience leading therapy programming across multiple states or regions.
  • Experience with deTASO or comparable clinical data and operations platforms.
  • Background in organizational development, strategic planning, or program expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the clinical leader for Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), and Developmental Therapy (DT) at Pediatrics Plus.
  • Ensure clinical quality, compliance, strategic direction, and cultural integrity of therapy programming across all Pediatrics Plus sites.
  • Clinically oversee a team of Directors of Therapy Services.
  • Partner across clinical lines, operations, finance, and executive leadership to deliver exceptional, evidence-based, and scalable therapy programming aligned with the organization’s mission, values, and growth trajectory.
  • Lead by example, reinforcing the Pediatrics Plus culture, mission, and core values.
  • Provide enterprise-level leadership and strategic direction for all OT, PT, and SLP services.
  • Clinically lead and develop site-level Directors of Therapy Services and Developmental Evaluators.
  • Lead and oversee the Therapy Now Coordinator and strategize for its growth and development.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning for Director-level therapy roles.
  • Uphold and model the leadership principles and management philosophy of Pediatrics Plus.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year strategic vision for OT, PT, and SLP programming.
  • Anticipate and plan proactively for changes based on trends, regulatory shifts, evidence-based research, and data analytics.
  • Coordinate and execute therapy-based initiatives for service provision betterment.
  • Lead therapy programming expansion for new sites and states, providing clinical infrastructure, leadership, and guidance.
  • Collaborate with leadership to initiate and complete the transition of new sites and programs into the therapy operational structure.
  • Research and report on emerging evidence-based practices and evaluate their integration.
  • Hold full budget ownership for the therapy clinical line (OT, PT, SLP) and budget forecasting.
  • Make and evaluate decisions with a clear understanding of their financial impact.
  • Partner with finance and operations to develop annual budgets.
  • Oversee and ensure clinical quality, fidelity, and outcomes of OT, PT, and SLP programming through quality assurance systems, site visits, coaching, and feedback loops.
  • Monitor therapy programming for best practices and measurable outcomes, ensuring compliance with professional standards and licensure requirements.
  • Monitor all practices and record-keeping for compliance with state requirements, professional standards, and payor guidelines.
  • Lead organizational accreditation readiness and maintenance for therapy services.
  • Review outsourced and contracted therapy assessments and services.
  • Maintain and advance quality assurance measures.
  • Collaborate with peer Clinical Line Leads to build a unified operational structure.
  • Collaborate with operations and administrative teams to ensure therapy service delivery is structurally sound, scalable, and aligned with organizational systems.
  • Collaborate to update, develop, and modify therapy-related components of deTASO.
  • Lead and collaborate with site-level Directors of Therapy Services for implementation of training, programming, and site-specific needs.
  • Communicate overall therapy program quality, culture, financial performance, and operational needs/successes to the SVP of Clinical Lines.
  • Problem solve and critically assess opportunities to improve quality, processes, and structure across therapy disciplines.
  • Assist with marketing events and initiatives as needed.
  • Attend required planning, leadership, and team meetings.
  • Provide continued development of therapy structure at the company and site level.
  • Provide strategic oversight and direction of training modules and professional development programming.
  • Support continuing education programming for OT, PT, and SLP staff.
  • Demonstrate continued personal growth in clinical, leadership, and strategic skills.
  • Respond constructively to feedback and model a growth mindset.
  • Participate in annual performance reviews.
  • Participate in regular one-on-one meetings with the Senior VP of Clinical Lines.
  • Assist and support executive leadership during company-wide initiatives.
  • Communicate any needs, concerns, or proactive recommendations to the SVP of Clinical Lines.
