About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Aide for a PRN (As Needed) opening at their Inpatient Facility in Dallas, TX. The role involves assisting therapists in providing comprehensive rehabilitation to patients in an inpatient setting. The candidate will work under the direction of therapists, helping with direct patient care such as transfers and toileting, maintaining infection control, performing light equipment maintenance, transporting patients, assisting with clerical tasks at the front desk, setting up patients for therapeutic activities, and facilitating exercise groups. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be friendly, energetic, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute positively to the team. A valid driver's license is required.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of hospital experience as a therapy aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with direct patient care, including transfers and toileting.
• Perform infection control cleaning.
• Conduct light equipment maintenance.
• Transport patients to and from the clinic.
• Provide assistance to the front desk with light clerical tasks.
• Set up patients on therapeutic activities.
• Facilitate exercise groups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
