About The Position
Seeking a rehab therapy aide to join a multi-disciplinary team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs providing care to patients in our Day Neuro program. The successful candidate will participate in clinical care under the direction of licensed therapists in a fast moving day rehab setting caring for patients with post acute neurological injuries including stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury.
Requirements
- BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Related experience is preferred
- One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred
- Enthusiastic applicants seeking an opportunity in the rehab setting
- Demonstrate flexibility and eagerness to serve patients as an integral member of the therapy team
Responsibilities
- Providing physical assistance with therapy intervention
- Maintaining equipment within the department
- Assisting with patient transportation in the company van
- Other administrative tasks
