About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Therapy Aide for their Outpatient Facility in Garland, TX. This role is part of a multi-disciplinary team of 13 clinicians and 5 PSS's. The Therapy Aide will assist neuro physical therapists with gait training and orthopedic therapists with their patient caseloads. Additional duties include assisting with tasks around the clinic such as cleaning, scheduling, compliance tasks, and laundry. The ideal candidate will be energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements

• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Previous tech experience preferred but not required
• One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred

Responsibilities

• Infection control cleaning
• Laundry
• Light equipment maintenance
• Assistance to clinicians for direct patient care as needed
• Assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks
• Other duties as assigned
