Walden - Therapist (Inpatient / Residential programs)
About The Position
Walden Behavioral Care is seeking an Inpatient / Residential Therapist for their Dedham, MA location. Walden is a leading national specialty healthcare system dedicated to serving all genders and offering the full continuum of care for people with all types of eating disorders. With 14 locations on the East Coast and over 15 years of experience, they have helped over 20,000 people on their road to recovery. This is a Per Diem position for coverage as needed, with a pay rate of $32.20-$52.00/hour depending on education and experience. Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting
- LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, PhD, PsyD, LMFT, preferred or license-eligible
- CPR certification, required
- Must possess knowledge of psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships, age specific growth and development, behavior management and crisis management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize independently
- Ability to multi-task in a changing and fast paced mental health environment
- Ability to work in a highly collaborate, team environment
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical social work and case management consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care
- Conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning, and discharge planning for assigned cases
- Manage cases on both the inpatient eating disorder unit and inpatient psychiatric unit
- Conduct individual, group and family therapy
- Conduct crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources
- Work to ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely and profession manner
- Work collaboratively with the treatment team and Walden continuum
- May be required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during periods of low census or to address coverage needs
