About The Position

Freedom Health Treatment is a behavioral health treatment organization located in Framingham, Massachusetts, providing compassionate, individualized care for individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring conditions. Freedom Health offers a continuum of outpatient behavioral health services, including Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Evening IOP, and traditional outpatient programming. Treatment is grounded in a client-first approach that integrates evidence-based clinical care with holistic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and other supportive wellness practices. Freedom Health Treatment is seeking a full-time Therapist to join its clinical team in Framingham, Massachusetts. This on-site, daytime position provides the opportunity to deliver compassionate, individualized care to individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring conditions within a supportive, recovery-oriented treatment environment. The Therapist will utilize evidence-based and holistic approaches to help clients strengthen coping skills, address underlying challenges, and work toward sustainable recovery and long-term well-being.

Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
3-5 years of experience providing behavioral health services in a clinical treatment setting.
Clinical education and experience appropriate to providing therapeutic services within the scope of the position and applicable Massachusetts requirements.
Knowledge of evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to treating mental health, substance use, and co-occurring conditions.
Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
Ability to work on-site in Framingham, Massachusetts during the organization's daytime schedule.

Responsibilities

Provide individual, group, and family therapy based on individualized clinical needs and treatment goals.
Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based interventions, psychoeducation, and relapse prevention, as clinically appropriate.
Support individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring conditions across Freedom Health's outpatient continuum of care.
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor client progress toward established clinical goals.
Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation consistent with professional and organizational standards.
Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary treatment team to promote coordinated, client-centered care.
Contribute to a safe, supportive, and recovery-oriented treatment environment that promotes sustainable coping skills and long-term well-being.
