About The Position

This position is responsible for providing therapy to patients and crisis intervention services. Completes assessments, documentation for services rendered, and case managed duties as needed. Will provide individual and group therapy sessions.

Requirements

Master’s degree in social work or counseling
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
Licensed MSW or Licensed Clinical Social worker Licensed Professional Counselor.
Candidates must not be provisionally licensed.
Working in a residential setting
Working in a trauma informed environment
Knowledge of trauma and the impact on healthy development.

Class E driver’s license

Responsibilities

Provide clinical counseling services to patients with a focus on those affected by trauma. Will provide group therapy and individual therapy
Provide crisis intervention as needed
Complete various assessments and reports as appropriate such as pre-admission, admission, trauma, suicide, and substance abuse
Formulate and administer treatment plans
Participate in meetings, staffing, and other appointments with patients as needed
Communicate and collaborate with internal and external individuals and groups to provide excellent care, customer service and cooperation
Assure proper authorizations are in place prior to provision of services
Prepare insurance reviews for insurance companies
Assist in SCM restraints as needed
Other duties as assigned according to qualification of staff and development of programs
