About The Position

Spectrum is seeking a mission-driven, compassionate Therapist who is ready to walk alongside children, teens, adults, and families as they navigate trauma, disability, and emotional or behavioral challenges. Requirements

Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or Guidance & Counseling
Three years or more of experience in evaluation, assessment, and therapeutic intervention
Training or experience in CBT, TF-CBT, and/or substance use disorder counseling
Professional licensure (LLP, LMSW, LPC, LLPC, or similar)
Reliable transportation and a valid, unrestricted Michigan driver’s license
Ability to meet all health and safety requirements (MDHHS clearances, TB test, physical exam)

Responsibilities

Provide direct therapeutic services grounded in empathy and evidence-based practice
Support youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, emotional and behavioral needs, and trauma histories
Strengthen families using a family-systems approach that restores connection and hope
Offer clinical consultation and training to staff and partner professionals
Bring compassion, skill, and steady presence into homes, communities, and program environments
