About The Position

New Freedom’s Therapist performs a variety of therapeutic services to provide psychological care to members receiving treatment. This treatment includes a focus on various behavioral challenges such as substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, post-incarceration syndrome, and co-occurring behavioral health needs. This position works collaboratively with all members of the treatment team including the members and family. The level of care for the program is Intensive Outpatient Services, with specific curriculum and program design.

Requirements

  • Perform a variety of therapeutic services to provide psychological care to members receiving treatment.
  • Focus on various behavioral challenges such as substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, post-incarceration syndrome, and co-occurring behavioral health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the treatment team including the members and family.
  • Provide Intensive Outpatient Services.
  • Utilize evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, REBT, motivational interviewing).
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and recovery plans.
  • Observe, assess, and document member behavior, mood changes, and progress.
  • Report concerns to clinical leadership.
  • Facilitate structured group sessions and workshops supporting community reintegration, employment readiness, and life skills.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams, including Re-Entry Specialists and Peer Coaches, to coordinate comprehensive care and goal achievement.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with program standards and performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure member and staff safety while protecting confidentiality and securing all records and materials.
  • Participate in regular supervision, training, and program development initiatives to uphold clinical and professional standards.

Responsibilities
