About The Position

Mazzoni Center is seeking a compassionate, skilled full-time Therapist to join our behavioral health team. This role is ideal for a licensed clinician who is passionate about providing affirming, high-quality mental health and substance use services to LGBTQ+ adolescents and adults. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
  • Active Pennsylvania clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD required)
  • 2–3 years of post-graduate experience providing psychotherapy
  • Demonstrated cultural humility and competence working with diverse racial, socioeconomic, sexual orientation, and gender identity groups
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfort with managed care environments and electronic health records
  • Willingness to complete required trainings (CPR, First Aid, Narcan, HIV, Confidentiality, TB/STI)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances (Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI)

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience with managed care and public funding sources

Responsibilities

  • Delivering affirming psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
  • Conducting clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning with measurable goals
  • Facilitating groups and supporting clients across mental health and substance use concerns
  • Providing services via both telehealth and in-person care
  • Coordinating care and making referrals to internal and external resources as needed
  • Maintaining timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with funder, contract, and agency requirements
  • Supporting continuity of care, including post-discharge follow-up for clients with substance use disorders
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes
  • Participating in clinical supervision, departmental meetings, and ongoing professional development
  • Assisting with outreach initiatives and program goals
  • Working flexible hours, including some evenings
  • Upholding confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and agency policies at all times
