The Therapist works under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor/Manager and is responsible for running IOP Groups in Carroll County. Minimum of 3 days a week, 4 hours each day. The role involves providing individual, family, and group counseling and psychotherapy to an assigned caseload, which may include clients with severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders. The Therapist is responsible for developing and maintaining a therapeutic relationship with clients, families, and caregivers, and for responding to mental health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner. This position also involves providing Community Psychiatric Supports and Treatment (CPST), SUD Targeted Case Management, and Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), and/or minor case management functions. The Therapist will serve as a liaison to coordinate services, make referrals, and advocate for clients. Active participation in treatment conferences and meetings, and accurate documentation of client interactions are essential. The role requires attendance at regular supervision and maintenance of all required licenses.
