Full-Time Therapist
About The Position
PsychoGeriatric Services (PGS) is seeking a full-time Therapist to expand access to quality mental healthcare by partnering with long-term care facilities to serve and support seniors. The ideal candidate is a licensed Psychologist or Clinical Social Worker with a passion for serving older adults and those with complex mental health needs. This role offers an independent, flexible environment with a focus on purpose, empathy, and progress. As a Therapist, you will deliver compassionate psychiatric care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settings, working autonomously while staying connected to a robust clinical and administrative support team.
Requirements
- State licensure as a Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Clinical Social Worker (MD, DC, VA, or PA required)
- Monday–Friday availability during normal business hours
- Ability to stand for 20 minutes and lift up to 15 pounds

Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family counseling to patients
- Coordinate care and consult with facility teams (Administrator, Director of Nursing, Social Services)
- Adhere to state and federal clinical guidelines and PGS protocols
- Educate staff and support holistic, patient-centered care
- Maintain clear, timely documentation
