This full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday position supports patients in PHP/IOP programs. The therapist leads collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services interventions for assigned patients and their support systems. The therapist utilizes empirically supported therapeutic techniques (CBT, DBT, family therapy) to aid in the stabilization and recovery of individuals with mental and behavioral health concerns. The therapist creates a safe and supportive environment for patients to gain insight into the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and work towards achieving their goals. The Therapist will work in an acute care setting that includes inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and/or intensive outpatient services. The role may involve other duties as directed by management to support patient care and system initiatives.
