About The Position

Peachford Hospital is seeking an experienced, energetic Master's prepared Therapist to work full-time in their Adult Outpatient Services Program or Adolescent Outpatient Services Program. This role is within the Partial Hospitalization Program, focusing on addiction and mental health issues. The therapist will provide quality care to patients in outpatient programs. Crisis de-escalation skills and the ability to multi-task and manage priorities with a positive attitude are critical for this role.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related clinical area.
• LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW or LMFT certification.
• At least 2 years previous outpatient or inpatient experience.
• Working knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-informed Care.

Responsibilities

• Conducting psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups and lectures.
• Determining patient’s treatment needs and conducting psychosocial assessments.
• Conducting new patient orientation and assigning patients to appropriate groups.
• Maintaining a working relationship with physicians, hospital staff and leaders as well as managing staff providing care on the weekends.
