About The Position

The Therapist at Eagleville Hospital will provide high-quality therapeutic services to patients within the healthcare setting. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health and substance use disorders, with the aim of improving patients' overall well-being and helping them achieve their personal recovery goals. The Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and support. This is an evening position with hours and days to be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within a hospital environment.
Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations, including individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices in mental health and substance abuse treatment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in healthcare.
Proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, and documenting patient progress.
Capability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their mental health and substance use treatment needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Educate patients and their families about mental health and substance use disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.
Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in therapy and mental health care.
Contribute to the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures related to therapeutic services.
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to ensure patient safety and well-being.
