About The Position
West Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Therapist. The purpose of this role is to provide direct care to patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions in an acute setting. The Therapist is responsible for collaborating with the patient, family/support, multidisciplinary team, outside providers, and community agencies to support and coordinate treatment and discharge planning. The role also involves continuing personal development to enhance practice and working with adult, adolescent, children, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Human Services related field.
- LPC, LPC-I, LMFT, LMFT-A, or LMSW in Texas.
- CPR certification.
- Hospital de-escalation certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s in Social Work.
- LCSW in Tennessee.
- One year of clinical experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
