Requirements

Must have a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in the social or behavioral sciences
Must have current "full" Texas license (LCSW, LPC and/or LMFT) and be in good standing with their credentialing board
Must maintain first aid/CPR certifications
Must have a minimum of 2 years paid work experience providing psychotherapy
Bilingual Spanish required
Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize

Responsibilities

Screen new clients to identify presenting problems, address urgent issues, and provide immediate referrals as needed.
Administer thorough psychosocial assessments.
Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to adults, adolescents, and children experiencing biopsychosocial stressors.
Collaborate with clients, physicians, and other providers to develop and implement client-centered interventions and treatment plans.
Re-assess clients and update treatment plans as necessary.
Meet with a clinical supervisor at least monthly to review client cases.
Document all client encounters in the medical record within three working days.
Perform billing activities according to agency procedures.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Interview and advise patients on health and illness prevention, including family planning services.
Stay informed about developments in therapeutic techniques, theories, and research.
Perform other duties as assigned.
