About The Position

Heritage Behavioral Health Center is hiring passionate professionals to join our Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS) team! This program provides critical support to youth in foster care and their caregivers to stabilize placements and prevent disruptions. We are a mission-driven Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic dedicated to improving mental health and substance use care across a multi-county area. Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required.
  • Ability to obtain licensure as a LSW or LPC within 6 months required.
  • Clinical licensure as LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT required; LPHA credentialing preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
  • Minimum age: 21 years.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with youth and families and child welfare experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to youth and foster families to stabilize placements.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to IPS team members, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Coordinate care with DCFS, foster parents, and community partners.
  • Participate in crisis intervention and on-call rotation as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
