The Children’s COP SUD Therapist is responsible for maintaining a caseload of children, adolescents, and families with primary substance abuse and/or mental health diagnoses. This role involves collaborating with professional team members from TGC and other providers/systems to integrate service delivery. The therapist must conduct intake assessments, maintain case records promptly, complete authorizations with various funding sources, and provide appropriate treatment services based on medical necessity. Full-time staff work 37.5 hours per week, including a minimum of 4 hours per week after 5:00 pm. The position is in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, and substance use disorder.
