This role involves performing psychosocial evaluations, documentation, and providing psychotherapeutic interventions tailored to client needs. The clinician will document all patient-related activities in a timely manner, adhering to agency policy and legal/ethical standards. Administrative tasks related to job assignments must also be completed promptly. The position includes providing psychotherapy for individuals, families, and groups, and consulting with other professionals as needed. Participation in clinical utilization review and interdisciplinary team sessions is expected for patient assessment, treatment goal development, and discharge planning. The clinician will collaborate with clients and the treatment team to complete and evolve treatment plans. Additionally, the role involves assisting in program development, organization, and innovation through planning and evaluation sessions. Regular clinical supervision, consultation with the medical director and colleagues on risk-related decisions, and participation in professional development activities (seminars, workshops, training) are required. Care delivery must align with DPH and HIPAA standards, including patient rights and confidentiality. Compliance with program policies and procedures, supporting quality improvement activities, and demonstrating professional judgment are essential. The clinician will act as a resource for clinical and procedural expertise to other staff, work cooperatively within the Revenue Cycle Management process, and provide timely responses for credentialing and paneling. Other duties as assigned by the manager are also part of the role. The position also requires engaging in the organization’s culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in and promoting CCHC Pillars of Excellence.
