About The Position
Universal Health Services (UHS) is a leading healthcare services provider. Southeast Behavioral Hospital, a part of UHS, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient mental, emotional, and behavioral health services for various age groups experiencing mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and co-occurring substance use disorders. The hospital is located in Southeast Missouri and serves the surrounding region.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field required.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health field.
- Appropriate state licensure in mental health.
- A strong knowledge of TJC, CMS, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in advanced clinical/management practice.
- Candidates holding a LCSW licensure or greater are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical social work services in designated areas consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Southeast Behavioral Health.
- Conducts psychosocial assessments.
- Provides individual, group, and family therapy.
- Participates in treatment team planning.
- Processes commitments.
- Provides discharge planning/case management services.
- Performs crisis intervention.
- Serves as a liaison with referral sources and other hospital departments.
