About The Position
The Therapist provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Southeast Behavioral Health. The Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field required.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health field.
- Appropriate state licensure in mental health.
- A strong knowledge of TJC, CMS, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in advanced clinical/management practice.
- Candidates holding a LCSW licensure or greater.
