About The Position

Peachford Hospital is seeking an experienced, energetic Master's prepared Therapist to work a hybrid role in their Adult Outpatient Services Program or Adolescent Outpatient Services Program, as well as their Intake department. This position will require 24 hours in PHP and 8 in Intake. Outpatient Therapists in Peachford's Partial Hospital Program provide quality care to patients in outpatient programs with a primary focus on addiction and mental health issues. Crisis de-escalation skills and an ability to multi-task and manage priorities with a positive attitude are critical for this role.

Requirements

• A master’s degree in a related clinical area.
• LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW or LMFT certification is preferred or license-eligible.
• At least 2 years previous outpatient or inpatient experience.
• Working knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-informed Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups and lectures.
• Determining patient’s treatment needs and conducting psychosocial assessments.
• Conducting new patient orientation and assigning patients to appropriate groups.
• Maintaining a working relationship with physicians, hospital staff and leaders as well as managing staff providing care on the weekends.
