About The Position

Role: Outpatient Therapist Population: Children and adolescents, with individual and family therapy Location: Southampton, PA — in office Salary: $50,000/year Additional pay: $5 per session for evidence-based treatment Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12 PM–8 PM; Friday 9 AM–5 PM is an option

Requirements

Master’s degree in a mental-health-related discipline, such as: Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Another clinically related field.
The degree must include clinical practicum/internship experience with children and adolescents, with on-site supervision. Online degrees without direct clinical supervision are not accepted.
At least 1 year of post-master’s paid clinical experience with children/adolescents. Less than one year may require enhanced clinical supervision.
Training/proficiency in an agency-recognized Evidence-Based Practice, such as: PCIT, TF-CBT, ESFT.

Nice To Haves

Certification in an evidence-based practice is preferred.
An active Pennsylvania clinical license is preferred but not required, including: LPC — Licensed Professional Counselor, LCSW — Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LMFT — Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with child/adolescent experience, Licensed Psychologist.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and family therapy to an assigned caseload.
Develop and implement treatment plans with clinical supervision.
Complete treatment plans, progress notes, clinical summaries, and other documentation.
Coordinate care with psychiatrists, partial hospitalization programs, schools, social workers, and other professionals.
Participate in treatment-team meetings, court proceedings, and agency contacts when clinical expertise is needed.
Assist with crisis consultation for staff and caregivers.
Participate in discharge planning and review treatment goals.
Educate caregivers, legal guardians, and staff about treatment interventions.
Obtain/maintain managed-care authorization for services.
Keep current with developments in diagnosis and treatment.
Complete required trainings and maintain required licensure/certifications.
