Department Adult Psychiatrists With over 700 employees, Behavioral Health Services (BHS) at Denver Health is a large and rapidly expanding department that provides psychiatric care for patients in community, emergency, inpatient, justice, medical, mobile, and outpatient settings. Job Summary Masters level therapist, under supervision of a licensed therapist, performs culturally competent individual, family and group therapy, care plan development, case management, family intervention, and referral work within Colorado BHA Standards for patients receiving psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment at Denver Health. Subscribes to an evidence-based practice framework to manage and facilitate clinical processes and progress for patients. Effectively manages a clinical caseload and clinical documentation that spans multiple modalities of care. Goals of clinical practice are to assist patients in their ability to effectively manage/improve their psychiatric and substance use disorders, to function better with the community and gain stability within the community setting.
