About The Position
Ascend Medical is seeking compassionate, mission-driven therapists to join their growing Behavioral Health Division across Metro Atlanta. The organization aims to redefine whole person care by integrating behavioral health with healthcare, empowering therapists to focus on patient relationships, clinical excellence, and long-term healing. Ascend Medical provides operational infrastructure to reduce administrative burdens, allowing clinicians more time for patient care. They offer support in areas such as scheduling, insurance credentialing, billing, marketing, and EMR training. The model emphasizes collaborative care and provides opportunities for therapists to build their practice with internal referrals, community partnerships, and marketing support. Clinicians maintain clinical independence, flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to develop specialty niches. Ascend's integrated model includes primary care, psychiatry, therapy, care coordination, senior care, and wellness services, fostering comprehensive patient care and collaboration with medical professionals.
Requirements
- Active Georgia license (or license eligibility) in one of the following: LPC / APC, LCSW / LMSW, LMFT / AMFT, Psychologist, or Other relevant behavioral health licensure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
