About The Position

Ascend Medical is building an integrated model where therapists are empowered to focus on meaningful patient relationships, clinical excellence, and long-term healing. They are growing their Behavioral Health Division across Metro Atlanta and are seeking compassionate, mission-driven therapists. The model is designed to support clinicians by providing operational infrastructure, including scheduling, insurance credentialing assistance, billing support, marketing, intake assistance, and EMR training, allowing therapists to focus more on patient care. Therapists benefit from internal referrals, community partnerships, marketing support, access to integrated care teams, and the flexibility to develop specialty niches. Clinicians maintain clinical independence, therapeutic approach flexibility, and opportunities to shape culture and programming. Ascend's integrated model brings together Primary Care, Psychiatry, Therapy, Care Coordination, Senior Care, and Wellness-focused services to care for patients comprehensively. They are intentionally building a diverse behavioral health team and welcome clinicians across various backgrounds, specialties, and career stages who are compassionate, patient-centered, collaborative, growth-oriented, passionate about whole-person care, and interested in a mission-driven organization shaping integrated behavioral healthcare.

Requirements

  • Active Georgia license (or license eligibility) in one of the following: LPC / APC, LCSW / LMSW, LMFT / AMFT, Psychologist, or other relevant behavioral health licensure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to ethical, high-quality patient care.
