About The Position

SUMMARY OF POSITION Provide therapy to clients while maintaining good clinical judgement. Carry caseloads of 6 clients. Providing therapy 2-3x a week to client's ages 3-18. Completing 1 session with client, 1 session with guardian, 1 family session. Sessions are held in the client's home, at school, workplace, public setting etc. Work hours are 8am-6pm Monday-Friday. Administrative work includes daily notes, monthly CarePlan updates, and staying up to date with ROI's and other paperwork.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health (MH) Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a specialization in MH Counseling.
- Ability to successfully utilize computer/electronic equipment and software.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience providing treatment to individuals with mental health disorders is required.
Nice To Haves
- License-eligible in respective discipline preferred.
- Applicants with a Master’s degree in a related field (outside of the disciplines listed above) must meet the following criteria: Completion of at least 24 graduate-level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral health-related coursework. Relevant coursework and work experience in the following areas: Clinical treatment and treatment planning, Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders, Psychopathology, Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting.
- Substance use disorders experience preferred.
- Internship experience may be applied toward the minimum experience requirement for recent graduates.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy to clients while maintaining good clinical judgement.
- Carry caseloads of 6 clients.

- Conduct sessions in the client's home, at school, workplace, public setting etc.
- Complete daily notes.
- Complete monthly CarePlan updates.
- Stay up to date with ROI's and other paperwork.
- Respond to supervisory request for urgent care situations and coverage for vacant caseloads.
- Respond to needs of consumers in a timely and professional manner.
- Demonstrate good clinical judgment in decision making regarding consumers.
